Collections can be created purposefully, by accident, through obsession. Gathered by type, color, shape, or memories.

Reasons are variable: aesthetics, commercial necessity, practical need, affection. Art, artifacts, ephemera.

Objects may contain meaning and secrets and revelation anyone can understand. Or only a few.

Making sense of busy, complicated spaces is a special love of mine; my own obsession, you might say.

The first challenge is to make sense of the place for myself, and only then for a photograph. I'm certain there are reasons even I don't understand.

Either way, it all adds up.
